Smart and Sustainable Living Environment:
Utilizing Technologies for Resilience and Human-Centric Built Environments
     The rapid acceleration of urbanization, climate change, and technological disruption demands an urgent transformation in how we plan, design, construct, and inhabit our built environments smartly and sustainably. At the same time, the massive leap on digital technologies revolution reshaping the processes, practices, and possibilities of spatial planning and sustainable development. This development raised interesting debate on how to respond and integrate the emerging smart technology with our living environment to create resilient, sustainable, and prosperous living in the present and the future.  The 2027 International Conference on Spatial Planning and Sustainable Development invites researchers, industry practitioners, urban planners, architects, engineers, and policymakers from across the globe to present cutting-edge research, innovative practices, case studies, and transformative solutions.
     This conference serves as an interdisciplinary platform to explore the intersection of digital transformation, green architecture, regenerative design, spatial planning, environmental resilience, and human well-being. It seeks to foster meaningful dialogue and knowledge exchange across disciplines, sectors, and geographical contexts, while advancing innovative approaches to the planning and development of resilient, smart and sustainable built environments.
     We welcome original, unpublished research contributions addressing theoretical perspectives, methodological innovations, empirical investigations, case studies, and real-world applications. Contributions are encouraged to critically examine emerging challenges and opportunities and to propose innovative strategies for shaping more sustainable, resilient,resilient, inclusive, technologically responsive, and human-centred environments for the future.
