The biological systems are regulated by the interactions and regulations among molecules, including protein-protein interaction and gene regulations. The aberrant functions of certain parts of the molecular networks may lead to rewiring of the network, and therefore lead to certain disorders or diseases. In this talk, I’ll introduce the computational approaches our group have developed in past years for identifying cancer related molecules, including genes and miRNAs, based on molecular networks. Some of our predictions have been validated with molecular experiments.
